Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before subscribing to The Anglophile and/or British Castles Magazine, published by englandexplore.com (“we,” “us,” “our”). By subscribing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
We publish The Anglophile and British Castles Magazine as digital monthly publications, available individually or as a bundled subscription. Content is delivered digitally and may be read in your web browser or downloaded as a PDF, depending on the product.
2. Trial Offer and Subscription Billing
Certain offers include a discounted introductory trial period (for example, $1 for 30 days). Details of the specific trial length and price are shown on the order page before you check out.
Unless you cancel before the end of your trial period, your subscription will automatically continue and you will be charged the then-current subscription price on a recurring monthly basis, as stated on the order page at the time you subscribed.
You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method automatically for each renewal period until you cancel.
We will not increase your subscription price without providing reasonable advance notice to the email address on your account.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period, through the cancellation link on our homepage or by emailing support@englandexplore.com.
You will not be charged for any period after your cancellation takes effect, but no partial refunds are issued for the remainder of a period already paid for, except as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Account Information
You agree to provide accurate and current information when subscribing, including a valid email address and payment details.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your account.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content in The Anglophile and British Castles Magazine, including text, images, layouts and design, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright law.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and read the content for your own personal use.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly share, or use our content for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
6. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Samcart, a third-party payment platform. We do not directly store your full payment card details.
Your use of Samcart’s checkout is also subject to Samcart’s own terms and privacy practices.
7. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep our publications and website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the service, or change the content, format or frequency of our publications, at our discretion.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our publications are provided for general interest and informational purposes only.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all historical, travel or factual information in our publications is complete or error-free.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our publications or website.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your subscription will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
